Writing Rooms / Sessions
- Studio 2 comfortably accommodates up to five people and features a separate vocal booth with exceptional acoustics. Demos recorded here often end up becoming final takes.
- Studio 3 is an affordable option for up to three people, offering a great-sounding room with Genelec speakers, though it does not include a vocal booth.
- All bookings have access to our Instruments and Mics.
Vocal Recording
- We offer Australia’s finest microphone collection, including mics used by leading artists while at Forbes Street Studios. Some of these mics include the Sony C800-G used by The Weeknd and Travis Scott, and the Telefunken ELA M 251 used by Billie Eilish and Elton John.
- Some of our elite vocal producers include Lewis Mitchell, Ben Briddon, & Natasha Newling.
Atmos / Spatial Mixing
- Forbes Street has been at the forefront of Dolby Atmos music mixing in Australia longer than any other studio.
- Our team of engineers spans a wide range of genres and has delivered spatial mixes for artists including Empire of the Sun, Troye Sivan, Hilltop Hoods, Cat & Calmell, Meg Mac, Vera Blue, Lee Kernaghan, Ocean Alley, and many more.
- Studio 1 was setup for immersive mixing in collaboration with Dolby Laboratories, who also tuned the room… If you simply need access to an amazing full spatial system for playback, we’re happy to help.
Producers

- Lewis Mitchell (Ziggy Ramo, Masked Wolf, LDRU) – Track finisher, writer and mixer
