Sydney-based pop duo Cat & Calmell return with their new single ‘Cool Star’.
Describing the track as their “unofficial theme song” for the last year, ‘Cool Star’ was born from a conversation between Cat & Calmell, and their producer Lucy Blomkamp (6lack, Mallrat, Nick Ward) where they spoke about the reality of life as pop stars:
“It’s glam in theory, so people tend to have certain expectations about how you live or what your lifestyle looks like, and it’s one which continuously proves to be far from the truth and also very humbling”
