Ethan is a songwriter, producer and engineer whose work spans projects with Gang of Youths, The Avalanches, Meg Mac, Sleepmakeswaves, and assisting alongside major international credits including The Weeknd, Mike Dean and Boy and Bear. His writing experience includes sessions with Matthew Ifield, Charley, Holly Hebe, Lucy Sugerman and Noah Kahan, adding a deeply musical and intuitive edge to his creative approach.
He has produced and written for larger bodies of work including the last two EPs for Charli Lucas, the latest EP for Gena Stone, and contributions in Nashville for artists such as We Are Messengers and Eliza Harrison Smith. Ethan also loves to mix, bringing his signature indie flare to any project that aligns with his sound.
With a multi-instrumental background and degree from the Sydney Conservatorium, Ethan chases sound with instinct and intention, focusing on punchy indie drums, cinematic textures and melodies that feel alive. He stays close to the live scene, performing with artists such as Charli Lucas, MYMA and Will Baker, keeping the energy of live performance at the centre of his productions.
Ethan’s sessions are built on trust, curiosity and a love for both current and classic sounds, creating an environment where artists show up as themselves and leave with something bigger.
